Scope
With this privacy policy, users receive information about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider.

The legal framework for data protection is provided by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Collection of general information
With every access to this website, information is automatically recorded by us or by the web space provider. This information, also referred to as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your identity.

The information recorded includes, among other things: the name of the website, file, date, amount of data, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our website) and the IP address.

Without this data, it would in some cases be technically impossible to deliver and display the content of the website. In this respect, the collection of the data is absolutely necessary. In addition, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. It helps us to optimise our services and technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently inspect the log files if there is any suspicion of unlawful use of our services.

Handling of personal data
Definition: Personal data is considered to be all information by which a person can be uniquely identified. It is therefore data that can be traced back to a person.

This personal data includes the first name and surname, the telephone number and the email address. Information about hobbies, memberships and preferences, as well as websites that have been visited, is also considered personal data.

This data is only collected, used and, where applicable, passed on by the provider insofar as the law expressly permits this or the user consents to the collection, processing, use and transfer of the data.

Integration of third-party services and content
Our website sometimes includes content, services and offerings from other providers. These are, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube, as well as graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be retrieved and displayed in the user's browser, the transmission of the IP address is strictly necessary. The providers (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) therefore receive the respective user's IP address.

Even though we strive to use exclusively third-party providers that only require the IP address in order to deliver content, we have no influence over whether the IP address might be stored. In such cases, this process serves statistical purposes, among others. Insofar as we are aware that the IP address is being stored, we inform our users of this.

Google Fonts
We embed the fonts ("Google Fonts") of the provider Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. According to Google, users' data is used solely for the purpose of displaying the fonts in the users' browser. The embedding is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests in a technically secure, low-maintenance and efficient use of fonts, their uniform display, and consideration of possible licensing restrictions on their embedding. Data minimisation
In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation, we store personal data only for as long as is necessary or required by law (statutory retention period). If the purpose of the collected information no longer applies or the retention period ends, we block or delete the data.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection
You have the right, upon request and free of charge, to obtain information about the personal data we have stored about you and/or to request its correction, blocking or deletion. Exceptions: this concerns data storage required for business operations or data subject to the statutory retention obligation.

In order to be able to take a data block into account at any time, it is necessary to retain the data in a blocking file for control purposes. If there is no statutory obligation to archive the data, you may also request its deletion. Otherwise, we will block the data if you so wish.

Changes to our privacy policy
In order to ensure that our privacy policy always complies with the current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in cases where the privacy policy needs to be adapted due to new or revised offerings, for example new services. The new privacy policy will then apply on your next visit to our website.
