Projects successfully restarted after a pandemic-related pause

Lasting help is only effective if all measures are regularly put to the test.

At the end of March 2022, Daniela Rasel, managing director of the BFV Social Foundation, and Ulrike Bracht from the non-profit organisation „Football for Worldwide Unity“ (FFWU) set off together to get a picture of the current work on the ground, to discuss the way forward with those responsible for the projects, and to intensify the cooperation again after months of coronavirus-related restrictions.

It was with great joy that the guests from Germany were also able to see for themselves in the primary schools that the investments made so far are being used and well maintained. During a tour, the condition of the library, the multi-purpose courts and the water pump built with BFV support was inspected, and upcoming projects were discussed.
This year, for example, it was possible to renovate the sanitation facilities at one school, construction of a library began, and the staff room at the EPC Albazine school will also be renovated this year.
